life around here is plugging along.  just keeping up with the summer stuff...
it has been a different kinda summer. not bad.. just different.  the weather may have something to do with this.  anyways..

so here is peek at a layout I did. wonderful Chiara had a challenge at HOP.  I had to do three layouts in order to possibly win her Clip-it-Up system. I have wanted one of these for quite some time now.  I know it would make a fabulous addition to help me better use my scrapping supplies.  So keeping my fingers and toes crossed one this one :)  here is the peek...

so tomorrow I have a senior photo session.  I am really nervous again.  I also had a friend email me and say she has a couple of sessions for me too.  love that she thought of me to do them for her and her family :)

looks like we need to get a new fridge.  can anyone say yuck?

I am heading to boston for the weekend for the annual woman of faith conference. I expect it to be fabulous just as it was last year.  good times.

our fresh air child arrives next week!  so excited!!!!  her name is miya!  how cute!

My girl is about to turn 7.  She is having an "American Girl Party" at the movie theater with her friends. They will be enjoying the Kit Kittredge movie together. All the girls are bringing their own AG dolls.  It should be real cute. 

Today Hannah received the new AG magazine in the mail.  She hasn't stopped talking about it and for the longest time wouldn't put the mag down.  Had to take a pic of my true IRL American Girl.  She is as close to a doll as I have found :)  I cant believe my baby is turning 7.  Truly time has escaped me.  

I have been having a hard time getting back into the groove since returning from vacation.  I need to find my groove and dig in.  Seriously, I need to find it.  So send me some grooving would you?? :)

wow can you believe it?  july already!?!!
our vacation was good.  it was very rainy in florida.  I kinda expected some rain but not as much as we had.  it was good family time.  I was able to meet up with some fun and fabulous hop girls.  we also met up with dwights best friend from middle school and high school and his family for an evening of fun as well.  it is great to be home though!  i think we brought the sunshine home with us!  YEAH!  lol

july is going to be a very busy month.  a lot going on...here is a little snapshot of our month at a glance..

I find it so comforting to know that my children are developing friendships at such a young age.  Some of their friends they have had since before pre-school (Hannah & Mason both went to pre-school together actually and here they both are going to be 2nd graders).  I think that this is so cool.  

Growing up I moved around too often to ever experience consistent childhood friendships.  I made friends easily but then the next thing I knew we were moving again. 

Today I was watching a friend of mines three kiddos while she did some work at the office.   They are all such sweeties.  In between the rain showers we had some sprinkler time in the back yard...  before coming in I had to take the opportunity to take their picture.  One day I hope that they will look at this picture and have some giggles. Each of their individual personalities shine through in this photo.

.because my brain is on overload..

I am working from my laptop in the basement due to some nutty weather going on since about 2pm this afternoon. The temperature literally went from 90ish degrees to 76 in a matter of 15 minutes.  It was so odd.  Anyway....

Bigger news....

Hannah is now a 2nd grader!  PHEW!!  Today was her last day of school and summer vacation began at 12:45pm today!  Along with bringing her dwarf hampster in for show and tell my fabulous friend Christy once again provided me with her fabulous cookies for Hannah's classroom snack today... if you are local (or even if your not, these cookies rock and you should order some! )  lol.  SO YUM-O!

I have so many other photos but I do not have them on this computer so maybe another post to come...

lately I have too much...

1. still working on the basement looking so much better down there now.  i can actually walk in the storage room.
2. hannah is wrapping up 1st grade. has not been a good year for her.  i so hope for a better one next year.
3. work for me at the church is also about done.  its been fun.  
4. matthew is just growing up so quickly.
5. so glad summer is here so the kids and i can just regroup and enjoy one another.  
6. dwight is good. work keeps him busy. although layouts are near 
7. our anniversary was spent at home just hanging out.
8. i have to start getting things organized for florida.  that trip is coming quick.
9. still showing houses.  no deals though.
10. looking forward to trying some new recipes outhave a couple of weddings to go to this summer
11. need to make some cupcakes for the last day of school and a teachers gift
12. hannah earned a bracelet and charms that were for her accomplishments with the running program at school this year.
13. this weekend is dance recital weekend.

Just a Happy Anniversary to my hubby and I.  We are celebrating 14 years together today.  It has certainly been a journey.  I love you Dwight!
